Bio

Xi Li is an accomplished scholar with a deep commitment to theological education, ministry, and scholarly research. Recently completing a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies (Old Testament) at the Catholic University of America (CUA) in Washington, DC, Li's academic journey reflects a multifaceted exploration of medicine, ethics, biblical studies, and ministry.

Li's educational background is diverse and impressive. He earned an M.Div. from Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan University, specializing in Biblical Studies (New Testament). Additionally, Li has a Ph.D. from Peking University, focusing on Ethics and Bioethical issues. His research on personal identity and bioethics, influenced by Derek Parfit's reductionism, demonstrates a deep engagement with philosophical and ethical discourse.

As a scholar, Li has contributed significantly to academic literature through peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and translations. Research spans topics such as Ben Sira's views on free will, post-traumatic growth in Psalms, ethical theories, and more. Noteworthy publications include articles in Harvard Theological Review, Biblical Theology Bulletin, Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, Scandinavian Journal of Old Testament, Religion and Health, and translations of scholarly works from English to Chinese.

Li's teaching experience is extensive and global.
