Bio

Dr. Joel Hamme served as a chaplain, pastor, and professor providing pastoral care in a health center and hospital, serving as an outreach instructor in Christian ethics, and as a pastor of local congregations. He also served as a Hebrew and Old Testament professor in state and Christian universities, and a bible college and seminary and taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has published journal articles relating ancient near eastern civilizations to the Hebrew scriptures and has made several presentations at the US Center for World Mission, Evangelical Missiological Society and the Society of Biblical Literature. He published articles in bible and theological dictionaries and an encyclopedia of ancient Mediterranean religions. Dr. Hamme lives in Kansas, US.
