Tuition and Fees

Affordable Tuition & Fees

An investment in your education at Missional University is an investment in yourself, your career, and your life-long service in the mission of God in the world!

Tuition at Missional University is among the most affordable of any higher educational institution in North America.  In addition, many students may have their bill partially or fully covered by some form of financial aid.

Students must pay each academic term tuition at registration prior to the first class session, OR make arrangements for payment through loans, grants, or Employer Reimbursement/Tuition Deferment, if applicable. The tuition and fees below are for TIER 1 (North America, much of Europe and Oceania).  For information about our Global Tiered Tuition see below.

Global Tiered Tuition

Global economics is not an even playing field - and thus many deserving students in countries outside of the USA are shut out of a quality Christian higher education. Yet, the mission of God is global and the largest numbers of Christian people are in the global south (Latin America, Africa, and Asia).

To provide equity for Christian students outside of the United States, Missional University has instituted two specific initiatives to enable larger numbers of qualified students to attend the university online:

Tiered global tuition is based on the average household wages adjusted for living expenses known as "purchasing power parity" and further refined by a composite statistic of life expectancy, education, and income per capita indicators. According to the Human Development Index, all countries around the world fall into one of four categories: Very High Human Development, High Human Development, Medium Human Development and Low Human Development. Countries ranked very high on the Human Development Index are part of Tier 1 which is Missional University's regular, but very affordable, tuition. Countries ranked high, medium and low on the HDI are part of Tiers 2 thru 4 which pay reduced rates. Tiered tuition is applied based on country of residence at the time of application. See the map and the table below.

The Missional University Sponsorship Program allows students to participate fully in a 50% Tuition Scholarship. This 50% tuition scholarship is applied to the appropriate tiered global tuition.
