Dr. Ian Atkinson has taught English as a foreign language in both academic and professional settings and served as a theological faculty member teaching Hellenistic Greek, Biblical Hebrew, and Old Testament in Spain. His academic research focuses on a Cognitive Linguistic approach to Classical Biblical Hebrew prose, specifically syntax and word order, prosody, and textual processing models, as well as language pedagogy applied to reading skills. Originally from Northern Ireland and having lived in England, the US, and Spain, Dr. Atkinson regularly preaches and teaches in both English and Spanish. He and his family reside in Spain.
