Bio

Originally from Ghana, Dr. Aidan Kwame Ahaligah began his ministry with the Great Commission Movement of Ghana serving as a regional coordinator for Jesus Film screenings, church planting, and evangelism with Campus Crusade for Christ. Later he served as a senior District pastor in charge of 14 congregations for the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and has served in pastoral roles in the United States (Illinois & Ohio) and in the United Kingdom (London, England, and Scotland). Dr. Ahaligah has taught Missions and Evangelism courses in Ghana, African Christianity and Theology in Kenya, African Religions, Theology of Religion, and Christian Mission and Religious Pluralism in the United Kingdom. He specializes in interdisciplinary research methodologies, religious studies, contextual theology, and ecclesiology. He has extensive ethnographic research experience on three continents where he conducted research in Kenya, Ghana, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia. He has published articles in religious and theology journals and given presentations for the Society for the Study of Theology at the University of Manchester, UK; Institute for Interdisciplinary Biblical Studies (SHBS), University of Sheffield, and other presentations at conferences at the University of Leeds (UK), University of Leipzig (DE), and Wartburg Seminary (US). Dr. Ahaligah and his family live in the UK.
