Course description

A survey of the ways in which the city and urban evangelization have been defined, various strategies that were employed, and research methodologies that were used. An analysis of the historical basis for contemporary models of urban mission will be given together with a study of their strengths and weaknesses. Students evaluate historical ideas, methods and strategies to reach urban centres for Christ and discern principles for contemporary urban mission development.
