This course explores the legal and procedural aspects of land use and aspects of land use. Emphasis will be placed on what has guided and is currently guiding land use in the United States of America and how U.S. cities continue to manage urban growth, economic development, housing, transportation and traffic congestion.
The student will learn how and a Biblical word view has shaped land use and planning policy.
The course will cause the student, especially from a Western background, to explore and evaluate assumptions, traditions, and biases.
The course will explore how Biblical doctrine and practice has influenced land use and planning policy.
This course will prepare students to engage all cultures with the gospel while addressing issues of land use and planning policy.
