Course description

This course develops ideas from Weather and Climate in a practical manner, equipping students to understand weather forecasts and seasonal outlooks, satellite and radar imagery, output from computer models, etc. It will also include aspects of weather observations from ground level.

In order to engage in mission in different parts of the world, students require an understanding of the factors that influence local climate. This course provides a basic, practical undergraduate understanding of how the climate works.
