Enables students to develop effective comprehension, university level vocabulary enhancement skills, and critical and analytical reading and thinking skills The content and activities will increase students’ reading efficiency, which will ultimately help students to make inferences and make critical judgments, and to demonstrate the ability to think and respond in writing in regards to required readings.
Students will improve overall comprehension and vocabulary building skills. The skills acquired in this course will certainly assist students to better understand the purpose, interactions, conflicts, solutions, and overall development of the assigned reading
The learning activities in this course, will help students improve their reading rate, and reading flexibility, which will prove to be helpful in subsequent university courses and in the career workplace.
