Apply program theory and further develop your professional identity and interests under the supervision of an on-site supervisor. Assignments will be designed to foster inquiry and reflection on site-based work and to apply program objectives to your practicum experience. Students reflect upon and interact within the career related professional culture.
EMP 3933 - Urban Mission
EMP 3934 - Church Planting
EMP 3935 - Organizational Leadership.
Students need meaningful opportunities to put classroom learning into practice, to reflect upon the skills and characteristics they need to hone in order to become successful at their career of interest, to receive constructive feedback from a practioner, and to focus their coursework.
Practicums are rooted in the New Testament concept of "disciple" as a learner who follows the master teacher.
Students will identify where God is at work among peoples in a professional community and begin to join in this work.
