How this course relates to missional core values

Biblically based

The meaning of "justice" is "what is right" or "what is normal" in society.  God's laws are legal laws from the beginning of the Old Testament to the New Testament  The people who violate those laws are going against God's obedience.

Missionally driven

God is at work in the community and students need to go where He needs them to go.  In Legal Issues in Organized Crime, students know about why criminals organize to defraud and cheat others.  This helps students to assist God's people in prevention, reformation, and recovery.

Contextually informed

Legal Issues in Organized Crime is recommended for the field.  Knowing what motivates people to commit to being a part of organized crime helps students understand the cultures that influence them.

Interculturally focused

Legal Issues in Organized Crime is a course that creates a foundational understanding of the dynamics of joining a gang, or organized crime family or group.
