CHP3240EN - Church Planting in Islamic Contexts

Course description

This practical course offers a hands on approach to church planting in Muslim communities. Attention will be given to contextualizing the various stages of church planting, including prayer support, evangelistic methods, and basic discipleship in order to multiply congregations among Muslim Background Believers.

: Even students with experience in planting churches will benefit from learning how to adapt traditional methods with the specific needs of the Islamic community.

Why this course is important

In order to fulfill the great commission, all peoples, including Muslim peoples, need to hear the gospel in a way they can understand and respond and then have the opportunity to be disciples in a faith community. For this reason, Missional University needs to help prepare students to plant churches in Islamic contexts.
