Course description

This course focuses on the long-term sustainability of homeschooling for both Home School Educators and children. Students examine common causes of homeschool burnout, learn to set realistic expectations, and establish healthy boundaries around educational time and family life. The course covers self-care for teaching Home School Educators, maintaining marital health, preserving children's social and emotional wellbeing, and knowing when to adjust or pause. Topics include managing comparison and perfectionism, building support networks, incorporating rest and margin, and evaluating whether homeschooling continues serving the family's mission. Emphasis is placed on creating joyful, life-giving educational experiences.
