Course description

This course equips Home School Educators to design comprehensive, sequential curriculum plans spanning kindergarten through high school. Students learn to identify essential knowledge and skills for each subject area, create scope and sequence documents, and ensure progressive skill-building across grade levels. The course covers evaluating and selecting curriculum resources, integrating subjects meaningfully, planning for high school transcripts and college preparation, and balancing structure with flexibility. Home School Educators develop personalized educational roadmaps that reflect their family's values and mission while meeting academic standards. Emphasis is placed on avoiding gaps, preventing unnecessary repetition, and creating coherent learning progressions.
