Course description

Develops and cultivates the skills of students’ by understanding the fundamentals of leadership from Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Henri Fayol, and other leadership and management theorists throughout history. The student dynamics of leadership within the 21st Century will be a pivotal aspect for this class. Learning about: Organizational Structure, Organizational Development, Organizational Change, The differences between Leadership and Management, Ethical leadership espoused by our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. This course is designed to enrich students’ knowledge and concepts based on leadership within a business.

How this course benefits students

Management & Leadership class introduces students’ to a wide range of topics and learning objectives. Such as fundamentals of leadership from Jesus Christ, Henri Fayol, other leadership & management theorists, Servant Leadership, Transformational Leadership, Situational Leadership, and Transactional Leadership. The student dynamics of leadership within the 21st Century, Organizational Structure, Organizational Development, Organizational Change, The differences between Leadership and Management, Ethical leadership espoused by our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Ethical business practices will be a primary focus throughout this course based on the Holy Bible.

The goal for this course is to develop students to learn best practices of management & leadership. Missional leaders can reach many others, spread God’s Holy word, and love worldwide through positive business practices.

This course will provide students with an understanding of management practices based on a business perspective to develop and foster their intent of starting their own business presence in a Christian perspective.

Interculturally focused

This course will develop students’ skills to reach various cultures and communities worldwide. Business is a necessary part of life that is translated into all languages, which also reaches multiple cultures, which enables students to serve and share God’s word and love with many.

This course will provide students with the practical tools and insights they will need to create and make a difference in their respective communities.
