Eljoh Hartzer's educational journey began at Paarl Girls High School, continued with a bachelor's degree in youth work, and continues toward a Master's Degree in Practical Theology from the University of Stellenbosch, specializing in Youth Ministry. Her commitment to service is evident through her roles at various churches and organizations, including All Peoples Church in Kayamandi, where she served as the Children's Ministry Director, Staff Manager, HR, and Office Manager over three years, showcasing her skills in team leadership, office administration, and human resources management.

Her involvement with the United Christian Student Association (UCSA) for four years as a Stranddienste member and her contributions to the Dutch Reformed Church's (DRC) UP Youth Ministry in Stellenbosch for two years underscores her dedication to youth work and ministry. Eljoh's passion for education is reflected in her pursuit of a Postgraduate Diploma and now a Master's in Practical Theology, where she aims to complete her thesis in 2024 under the guidance of her supervisor, focusing on youth ministry and practical theology.

Aside from her academic endeavors, Eljoh excels as a freelance Christian writer, collaborating with international clients on various projects such as books, devotionals, and blog posts, earning recognition as one of Upwork's top-rated freelancers.
