How can one sharpen leadership skills in assisting military families? This course will provide the opportunity for advanced student to assess a problem to be addressed, identify resources needed and identify the best organizations for the best network possible. Leadership styles and tasks will also be explored to determine the best way to motivate and organize teams and liaise effectively with organizations.
Taking initiative in making decisions for a predetermined outcome in a system will leverage resources and will aid the student in leading programs for military advocacy and other organizations.
This course works to build programs and systems which will make a real-life impact for the military family.
Proper planning, preparation, and execution is a biblical theme--to "sit down and count the costs" (Luke 14:28). Plans fail for lack of counsel (Prov. 15:22). It’s a biblical theme to know your context and plan accordingly.
One must learn to build a system to reach ministry objectives. Building partnerships helps provide the pathway for reaching others.
Each partner organization will have a particular function in assisting military families.
Not only is the military an intercultural organization, but building partnerships to reach the military family will be bring together different cultural groups to meet the diverse needs.
