This course will be based on a biblical worldview. We will focus on key texts from Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:42-48, among others. We will also spend time looking at how Jesus led his missional community from the book of Luke. A grounding in scripture will be key for students to learn how to effectively lead a missional community.

Missionally driven

The course will help students learn how to be Gospel centered and focus the missional community on the Gospel.

Contextually informed

Just as Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us there is nothing more contextual than the Gospel. Contextualizing the Gospel is learning to live like Jesus would in your local context.

Interculturally focused

This course will seek to integrate the concepts into every cultural context. The theme contextually will be “let culture be your context.” The course will bring in practitioners from many different culture’s.

Practically minded

This course will help the students to develop practical ways they can live missionally in their everyday life

Experientially transformed

The course will encourage students to live out what they are learning and share their experiences with the rest of the class.
