Course description

This course examines the spiritual and religious beliefs and practices of the Millennial generation. Special attention is given to Moralistic Therapeutic Deism and the epistemological turn to postmodernism as primary drivers of faith expression.

How this course benefits students

Through this course, students are trained to think critically about the belief system of Millennials, comparing and contrasting it with biblical Christianity. As a result, students gain competence and confidence in creating their own ministries to Millennials.

Why this course is important

Millennials are the most un-churched, de-churched generation. It is important to understand their attitudes and perspectives on Christianity so that the most effective methods of faith formation can be developed and implemented.
