Bio

Dr. Miron Gilbert has more than twenty years of experience in law enforcement roles as a rehab forensic site supervisor, community field supervisor, and chief investigator serving at a rehabilitation center working with sex offenders, a city police department, and a county office of public defender where he interviewed and located defendants, witnesses, victims for felony and state court cases; conducted specialized investigations for murder, armed robbery, rape, aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, kidnapping, and aggravated sexual battery; and reviewed and analyzed forensic evidence for court proceedings. He has consulted with background research organizations and judicial circuit accountability courts. Dr. Gilbert has been a guest lecturer at Albany State University, Georgia State College and University, and Macon State College. He has taught courses on the campuses of state universities in three states and has taught online courses for 11 universities. In addition to completing training with the Georgia Association of Professional Private Investigators, he has completed continuing education in forensic photography, animal crime scene forensics, taphonomy in forensic anthropology, forensic DNA, forensic electron microscopy, criminalistics, and crime scene investigation, gas chromography, and non-violent crisis intervention. He has presented forensic science research at the International Association of Forensic Science, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the American Society for Cell Biology. He lives in Georgia, USA.
