How this course benefits students

The only way to sustain living the missional life is in community. In scripture Jesus sent the disciples out two by two or in groups. The apostles were never alone. This course will give students an understanding of how to effectively start and lead a community on mission to a particular people and place. It will be helpful for students to learn that a missional community is more than just a small group in a church to help close the back door. Students need a clear understanding of what a Missional Community is, how to avoid pitfalls, and how to effectively help others live the missional life

Why this course is important

A missional community is the primary organizing structure for the missional church. The most effective way a student can live the missional life is in community. A missional community is core to live that, planting churches, and seeing disciples of Jesus made. This course builds on Intro to Missional Living, gives a foundation for planting churches, and making disciples in every context our students are in.
