MIS5010EN - Missiological Theory in the Science of Mission

Course description

Designed to serve as an introduction to mission, the course surveys the major conciliar, evangelical and catholic developments and controversies in the science of mission studies over the last two centuries. Students evaluate various mission practices during both the colonial and post-colonial eras. Attention is given to the global voices in mission studies with particular focus on major current missiological thought in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
