As a leader, are you aware of the necessary cybersecurity policies, plans and programs to keep data secure? This course is intended to be an opportunity for students to apply cybersecurity policy, plans and programs to real-life business situations, as well as, how these items impact faith-based organizations. There is also a hands-on component where case studies are evaluated and synthesized.
New cybersecurity threats are identified daily. Students will be provided with practical information, best practices and case studies to help them develop necessary policies, plans and programs for a secure workplace.
Cybersecurity policy, plans and programs focuses on cybersecurity implementation in businesses. Throughout the course we will evaluate principles from scripture that address ethical practices and biblical responses.
The goal for this course is to train students how to effectively implement cybersecurity in businesses. Missional leaders will find this course beneficial because it provides hands on experiences with developing policies, plans and programs related to cybersecurity.
Businesses are expected to keep personal data and PCI data secure. Students will learn how to employ policies, plans and programs within various settings to keep data secure.
Cultural norms vary in each society, however, Cybersecurity affects all users. Students will develop plans and policies, as well as, implement various programs to ensure cybersecurity in business settings. Though out the course, students will evaluate cultural norms and acceptable, ethical responses to various cybersecurity issues.
Students can utilize their practical skills by developing cybersecurity policies, plans and programs for various types of businesses. Students will gain knowledge that is useful in the workplace and personally.
Hands on creation of policies, plans and procedures, as well as, exploring case studies will equip students with the skills needed to enhance God's will through the application of cybersecurity standards and strategies.
