Course description

Develops and cultivates leaders by applying the dynamics of the individual, group, & team, within the context of the global organization. The ability to facilitate and apply Servant Leadership & Transformational Leadership within the international organization is paramount. Applying effective Leadership principles within a global organization is necessary by leaders today. Developing a sound policy of establishing a Code of Ethics, effective Business Policies & Procedures, and Motivation is essential. The primary goal of this class is the ability of the student to apply ethical business practices that drive success within a global organization. The international market is vast based on its overall competitive nature. The ability of leaders to reflect and apply a Christian perspective from the Holy Bible is very important today. This course is designed to enrich the students’ knowledge and engagement within an international organization.

How this course benefits students

The International Organizational Behavior class applies the context of a wide range of topics and learning objectives. Such as the application, forecast, and implementation processes of: Myers-Briggs, SWOT Analysis, Porter's Diamond Model, Hofstede's dimensions, within groups/Teams, leadership & Management, Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, Socialization, and Motivation facets within an international business entity. Applying ethical business practices will be a primary focus throughout this course based on the Holy Bible.

Ethics in business is a very important topic today. Business ethics taught from the Holy Bible is necessary especially from the word of God. Mission oriented individuals with training in ethical business practices will change the essence of business practices.

This course will provide students with advanced International Business perspective to develop and foster their intent of starting their own international business presence in a foreign country in a Christian perspective.

This course will develop students’ skills to reach various cultures and communities worldwide. Business is a necessary part of life that is translated into all languages, which also reaches multiple cultures, which enables students to serve and share God’s word and love with many.

This course will provide students with advanced skills and insights they will use to make a difference in foreign countries abroad based on a Christian perspective (Being a follower of Jesus Christ).
