Dr. Angela Brooks has served as a clinical therapist, professional counselor, employee assistance counselor, family therapist, case manager supervisor, team lead case manager, director of transitional living, alcohol & drug technician, and crisis counselor/outpatient therapist where she served families through providing youth emergency services, face-to-face assessments of those in crisis, supervising a 12 step facility, providing treat for sex offenders, overseeing transitional living programs, supervising family support services including juvenile court, conducting family-centered assessments and planning, providing child protection services, overseeing treatment planning for the severely and persistently mentally ill, managing domestic violence assessments, conducting psychiatric assessments, and providing telehealth sessions and community outreach. With more than 20 years of experience in youth & family services working with at-risk youth, Dr. Brooks has taught a variety of psychology-related courses at colleges and universities. She has given presentations to a variety of support groups, community colleges, and professional organizations. She is a certified Advancing Youth Development Facilitator, and a board-certified counselor. Dr. Brooks and her family live in Tennessee, USA.
