Bio

As a professor, supervisor in a juvenile youth treatment center, family support counselor, and pastor, Dr. Kieran Kehlor has developed curriculum; provided individual and group mental health counseling for community, at-risk and autistic youth, and HIV patients; and developed a comprehensive county-wide strategic plan of ministry for a multi-generational church. He has established community outreach programs that served more than 1200 individuals annually; provided therapeutic and socially integrative support to neuro-typical and atypical youth ages 14-19, and devised a mentoring program in a youth detention center designed to reduce adolescent recidivism; and conducted classes concentrating on restorative justice, life skills, chemical dependence, gender-identity, and cognitive behavioral therapy. His DMin project on faith-based mentoring programs for at-risk youth fostered effective reworking of social justice programs within the juvenile justice system. Dr. Kehlor and his family live in Pennsylvania.
